Normally each year at the national conference attendees are polite and well mannered. But brace yourself, because we already know that this summer in Denver several members are going to get into a food fight! “Chefs Knockout” returns with a vengeance in 2010, and promises to be an absolute “must see” event.

Witness the madness of two fierce teams as they review a list of available food and pantry items, and are then presented with the secret ingredient. Each team’s creative juices must collectively come together to design and prepare an award winning dish. The team with the best harmony and focus stands the best chance to take home top honors with their magical creation. Cheer on your favorite team. Watch them as the salt flies and the steam rises. The pace is fast and only the strongest survive! The judges are hard, but fair.

In the end only one dish and one team can take home the bragging rights.

The qualifying rounds will be impressive as well. Two team captains will rise from a field of many after an exciting demonstration of taste and ability. As soon as the two competing captains are selected, they will immediately begin assembly of their teams. Everyone can be creative in a controlled environment….but how well can they cope when the pressure is on? Find out at the 2010 Chefs Knockout competition.

This “serious” competition is worth its weight in pure fun and entertainment. Chefs Knockout is one event where everyone is a winner. Plan now to be ringside for this traditional and entertaining event.
