Healing Foods Lecture ~ CandidaIf you don’t know what it is…. You should!!!
Overview of class:
Candida is a disease that affects the autoimmune system and digestive track caused by eating refined foods, sugars, yeast, steroids, birth control pills, stress and antibiotic use. We all have yeast in the intestinal tract, but when there is an imbalance in bacteria, toxins are absorbed into the bloodstream and body tissues cause an allergic reaction to them.
Understanding what the disease is, how to positively impact the patient’s health through food consumption, and working in tandem with the patient’s physician can be a most rewarding experience. Learning proper ingredient substitutions for this and other special needs diets can help you expand personal chef business and reach a much underserved market.
What you will take away from this class:
• A clear understanding of Candida and the science behind it.
• Learn what foods to avoid and proper food recommendations.
• Learn common substitutions for foods for Candida and other special needs diets.
• Understand ways in which a personal chef can assist the patient in combating this illness.
• The importance of supplements and nutrionist/doctor support.
• Sample menus and recipes for this and other special needs diets.
Target Audience: AllAll = all members would benefit, knowledge of use to anyone at virtually any level of business development
