Toni Scott
For Toni Scott, a life-long "foodie," the role of personal chef has been the perfect blend of her life's passions: delicious food and entrepreneurism. As the founder and former owner of Austin Transcripts, Toni built a successful business utilizing skills gained over two decades in office management for some of Austin's most important law firms. While she enjoyed working for herself, she found that she was most passionate about food: searching for the most interesting and nutritious ingredients, drawing from international inspirations and family traditions rooted in Texas and Louisiana and creating memorable meals for friends and family. The best part of her day, she found, was making dinner! In 2004, she embarked on a mission to use her entrepreneurial spirit to bring great food to busy families and in the summer of 2005, launched Dinner Made Simple Personal Chef Service.
Toni also teaches cooking classes at Austin-based kitchen stores, and contributes regularly to Family Digest Magazine. Her latest cooking adventure is Dinner Made Simple – Now You’re Cooking, a website that helps home cooks improve their cooking skills and create simple, delicious and nutritious meals for their families.
Toni resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two daughters.
