"Put A Little Magic In Your Business"

Buena Vista Palace Resort, Walt Disney World
Lake Buena Vista, FL

Conference Dates: August 4th-7th, 2011

This was the 15th Annual Personal Chef conference hosted by the United States Personal Chef Association. Attending any USPCA Conference is always an excellent opportunity for you to establish networking contacts, learn from your peers and return home with the motivation needed to continue pursuing your goals.

This was the biggest gathering of personal chefs anywhere and was the perfect event to connect, network, learn, and motivated to take your business to new heights.

This conference built on the successes of prior years with speakers who will engaged our senses, our skills and our imagination in a location designed to stimulate and educate: The Walt Disney World Resort. The Buena Vista Palace is located on Disney grounds adjacent to Downtown Disney and offered easy access to entertainment, great food and exciting and interesting shops.

We had some great speakers and some very exciting classes.

Simon T. Bailey was our keynote speaker. Simon as voted the best keynote speaker ever heard or used by the readers of Meetings and Conventions magazine, Simon T. Bailey is a compelling instigator who enriches people's lives by encouraging them to create the destiny they want.

We also had guest speaker Mark Cotter, president and CEO of The Food Group. In partnership with the Florida Department of Citrus, he took a look into his crystal ball to forecast the emerging culinary trends and technology that will impact the future role of personal/private chefs.

There was a superb wine and food pairing class with Brandon Snyder, the resident Sommelier at the 4 Diamond Bull & Bear Restaurant in the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

We had hands-on classes for food photography along with educational classes on food allergies and gluten-free diets. There was instruction on the use of social media and even book-keeping and QuickBooks classes.

The food at our receptions and lunches were superb and far exceeded the standards at most conferences.

This was a fantastic conference to attend and right next to the Magic Kingdom!

We wish you could have been there! We only hope that you won’t miss the next one.
