United States Personal Chef Association 1997 Conference

Atlantic City, NJ August 20 - 22
Our first UPSCA National Conference was concluded and even though historic torrential rains pounded the area, the energy and positive outlook couldn't be squelched and the members proclaimed this first personal chef conference a great success.

Members were able to rub shoulders with personal chefs from around the country and share ideas, recipes, tips and techniques.

Training and Continuing Education classes included Marketing your Business Image, Safe Food Handling, Menu Planning and Contracts and ‘Extra Touches' that make you special.

Our special guest and keynote speaker was Jane Chesnutt, the Editor-in-Chief of Woman's Day Magazine. Ms. Chesnutt gave a rousing welcome to the personal chef's and shared her experience and outlook on the ever-changing food services available.

The Certified Personal Chef exam was offered for the first time. Successful completion of this 100-question exam, along with the other certification requirements earned each qualified participant the title of Certified Personal Chef (CPC).

As the industry leader, the USPCA is truly leading the way in the Personal Chef Service Industry.
