Washington, D.C. is one of America’s great cities. The center of Washington is for tourists from all over the world.

Internationally famous sites include the Capitol, Washington Monument, White House, Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian, the greatest collection of museums in the world. Attractions outside the city include the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery.

Washington, D.C., had an estimated population of 617,996 in 2011. The city was the 24th most populous place in the United States as of 2010.

Commuters from the surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs raise the city's population to over one million during the workweek. The Washington Metropolitan Area, of which the District is a part, has a population of nearly 5.6 million, the seventh-largest metropolitan area in the country.

This year’s conference promises to build on the successes of prior years with speakers who will engage your senses, your skills and your imagination in a location designed to stimulate and educate.

This year we will be in the nation’s capital. This year is an election year and the city will be buzzing with activity and excitement.

Among the classes: Beer and Cheese Pairing, Chesapeake Crab and Crab Cakes, Ethiopian Foods, Financial Planning for the Personal Chef, In-Home Catering, Private Cheffing, Supermarket Wine Tasting and much more. Stay tuned as we will be announcing more quality classes, speakers and workshops!

Our hotel is located near the mall and has many historic places to visit and see. Many of the them are free.
